Since 1981, the Maki Foundation has focused its funding on wildlands and wildlife protection in the Rocky Mountain states. Due to our small size, we cannot make grants to all the worthy organizations that request funding. We generally look for small organizations for whom a relatively small grant can make a significant difference. Many of our grantees are grassroots groups with a focus on activism and policy change, particularly in the realm of public lands management. We often give grants for specific projects, but we are also willing to consider grant for general support.
Below is a list of Maki Foundation 2024 grantees.
